The 60th edition of FACIM opened this Monday, August 25, at the Ricatla site in Marracuene (Maputo). Among the first highlights, COTUR was once again present and received a visit from the President of the Republic and his entourage.

The 60th edition of FACIM runs from August 25 to 31 at the Ricatla site in Marracuene (Maputo). The event kicked off on Monday, August 25, with the opening ceremony presided over by the President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, and an official visit to the main pavilions. It is the country's largest multi-sector showcase and brings together thousands of national and international exhibitors.

COTUR is once again present. At the start, the company's stand was visited by the President of the Republic and his entourage. The Head of State was received by the Chairman of COTUR's Board of Directors, Noor-Momade; they exchanged brief words and the PCA presented the President with a replica of a COTUR airplane - a symbolic gesture that underlines the brand's historical connection to the travel sector in Mozambique.

For COTUR, its presence at FACIM is also a commitment to representing the tourism and travel sector. The company and its PCA, Noor-Momade, have maintained over the years a consistent line of public participation that underlines the role of the private sector - and tourism in particular - in Mozambique's economic development, bringing companies, institutions and travelers together.

This year's stand brings us the latest tourism product news: great seasonal opportunities, tour packages and exclusive discounts, with curated destinations and offers designed for different traveler profiles. At the same time, COTUR is presenting the evolution of its booking technology - faster searches, an even better and more simplified user experience and various integrations with other technologies, including more payment methods.

For companies, the value proposition focuses on corporate travel: negotiated rates, a dedicated team and a technological layer that automates the application of the travel policy per employee, guaranteeing compliance, cost predictability and measurable savings.

The COTUR team will be at the stand in the Exporters' Pavilion throughout the week for demonstrations and meetings with clients and partners.
