During BTL 2026, in Lisbon, the Ambassador of Mozambique to the Portuguese Republic, Stella Pinto Novo Zeca, visited the COTUR stand, on an occasion that reinforces and recognizes the company's role in promoting the Mozambique destination on international stages.

Mozambique's Ambassador to Portugal, Stella Pinto Novo Zeca, visited COTUR's stand at BTL - Better Tourism Lisbon Travel Market, the largest tourism fair in Portugal, held at FIL (Parque das Nações) between February 25 and March 1. The diplomat was received by COTUR's CEO, Dr. Muhammad Abdullah, in a visit that was part of the effort to project Mozambique to the European market and the diaspora.

The Ambassador's presence at the COTUR stand underlines the proximity between the private sector and economic diplomacy, at a time when tourism is asserting itself as one of the most direct instruments of reputation, attracting foreign revenue and creating opportunities.

For COTUR, participation in BTL has been presented as part of its strategy to internationalize and enhance Brand Mozambique abroad, taking the destination to spaces where operators, buyers, media and end consumers meet.

Throughout the fair, the stand remained busy with programming aimed at the public and trade, including exclusive BTL campaigns, offers and a strong technology and interactivity component, with experiences that allowed visitors to design personalized packages and itineraries, simulating “dream trips” and combining products in real time.

Every year BTL brings together destinations, companies and public and private entities in the sector, acting as a platform for promoting and generating business and international contacts, with a simultaneous focus on the professional market and the general public.
